Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at either Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport, where our team will pick you up and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha city for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

  • Distance: ~120 km (2–3 hours drive)
  • Main Activities: Full-day game drive in Tarangire
  • Accommodation: Budget tented camp or campsite
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

After an early breakfast, you will depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most underrated parks. This park is home to huge elephant herdsgiant baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which serves as a vital water source for wildlife, especially in the dry season.

Day 3: Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

  • Distance: ~160 km (3–4 hours drive)
  • Main Activities: Ngorongoro crater game drive & return to Arusha
  • Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

After an early breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend 600m into the crater for an exciting game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is a wildlife haven, with over 25,000 animals, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo).

Highlights of the day:
