Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at either Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport, where our team will pick you up and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha city for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

  • Departure: 8:00 AM from your Arusha hotel.
  • Drive: Approximately 3 hours (115 km) to Tarangire National Park.
  • Activities: Full-day game drive in the park.
  • Highlights: Tarangire River, large elephant herds, climbing tree pythons, and majestic baobab trees. Spot lions, leopards, and other wildlife.
  • Accommodation: Jambo Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

  • Morning: Breakfast and en-route game drive as you head to Serengeti National Park.
  • Scenic Stops: View the Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Crater.
  • Arrival: Reach Serengeti by 3:00 PM.
  • Activities: Evening game drive in central Serengeti, witnessing the sunset.
  • Accommodation: Seronera Campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

  • Midday: Return to the campsite for lunch, pack your luggage, and continue with an en-route game drive toward Ngorongoro.
  • Accommodation: Simba Campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara

  • Morning: Early breakfast and descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive.
  • Highlights: Spot the Big Five, black rhinos, and an array of bird species including flamingos. Enjoy lunch inside the crater.
  • Afternoon: Ascend from the crater and visit Mto wa Mbu village for a cultural walking tour.

Day 6: Lake Manyara to Arusha

  • Morning: Full-day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park.

  • Afternoon: Visit a Maasai boma to learn about their culture and traditions.
  • Evening: Return to Arusha for dinner and overnight.
