Overview

Embark on an unforgettable 6-day group camping safari that takes you to some of Tanzania’s most iconic destinations. This adventure includes visits to Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater (often called the “Garden of Eden”), and Lake Manyara, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Witness breathtaking landscapes, diverse wildlife, and vibrant local culture.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at either Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport, where our team will pick you up and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha city for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Departure: 8:00 AM from your Arusha hotel.
Drive: Approximately 3 hours (115 km) to Tarangire National Park.
Activities: Full-day game drive in the park.
Highlights: Tarangire River, large elephant herds, climbing tree pythons, and majestic baobab trees. Spot lions, leopards, and other wildlife.
Accommodation: Jambo Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Morning: Breakfast and en-route game drive as you head to Serengeti National Park.
Scenic Stops: View the Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Crater.
Arrival: Reach Serengeti by 3:00 PM.
Activities: Evening game drive in central Serengeti, witnessing the sunset.
Accommodation: Seronera Campsite for dinner and overnight.
Key Attractions: Endless plains, the great wildebeest migration, zebras, gazelles, and predators such as lions and cheetahs.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Morning: Early game drive at sunrise followed by breakfast.
Midday: Return to the campsite for lunch, pack your luggage, and continue with an en-route game drive toward Ngorongoro.
Accommodation: Simba Campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara

Morning: Early breakfast and descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive.
Highlights: Spot the Big Five, black rhinos, and an array of bird species including flamingos. Enjoy lunch inside the crater.
Afternoon: Ascend from the crater and visit Mto wa Mbu village for a cultural walking tour.
Highlights: Experience banana plantations, local cuisine, and village life.
Accommodation: Jambo Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Lake Manyara to Arusha

Morning: Full-day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park.
Highlights: Tree-climbing lions, flamingos, hot springs, and lush forested landscapes.
Afternoon: Visit a Maasai boma to learn about their culture and traditions.
Evening: Return to Arusha for dinner and overnight.
