9 Days Northern Circuit Route Kilimanjaro Trek
Overview
Northern Circuit Route – The Best Kilimanjaro Trek for Acclimatization & Scenic Views
The Northern Circuit Route is Kilimanjaro’s longest and most scenic route, offering the best acclimatization profile and a high summit success rate. Taking approximately nine days on the mountain, it allows climbers to adjust gradually to the altitude, reducing the risk of altitude sickness
This less crowded and remote route follows the Lemosho trail before circling the mountain’s northern slopes, offering 360-degree panoramic views of Kilimanjaro, its glaciers, and the vast Kenyan plains. Unlike the busier Machame and Marangu routes, the Northern Circuit provides a quieter, more immersive wilderness experience, making it ideal for trekkers seeking solitude and breathtaking scenery.
